It may still be winter out there, but Spring is on its way! So what better way to usher in the new season than by making these easy and delicious popsicles?! They can be enjoyed at any time of year, indoors or outdoors.
Our elderly clients especially enjoy popsicles and cool desserts as it reminds them of simpler days….and they are easy to eat as a nutritious snack!
Strawberry Yogurt Popsicles
Makes 10 servings (approx.)
12 oz. fresh ripe strawberries
2 cups full-fat plain Greek yogurt
1/4 cup honey
Tools or Equipment
Popsicle moulds (with sticks)
Blend strawberries on high speed until it develops a smooth consistency. Add yogurt and honey, and continue to blend until incorporated.
Pour the mixture into popsicle moulds, insert the sticks, and freeze for 5 hours or overnight.
Run popsicle moulds under warm water until the pops loosen, and then remove and enjoy!
