This Wednesday, March 17th is St. Patrick's Day! Legends say that finding a 4-leaf clover is considered a symbol of good luck. It is said that each leaf in the clover symbolizes good omens for faith, hope, love, and luck for those who find it.
Well, we decided to make a little bit of our own luck with this paper craft! Create your own 3- or 4-leaf clover and use it to decorate a card, wreath, or other displays!
Here's what you will need:
Sheets of green craft paper
Heart-shaped cookie cutter or free-hand stencil
Scissors
Pencil
Craft glue
Directions
On each sheet or half-sheet of green craft paper, draw or trace a heart shape. It can be any size you want, depending on the size and purpose of your design. Repeat to make 4 heart-shaped clover petals.
Using craft glue, attach them together at the bottom tip of the heart. Let dry.
Once this is complete, you may glue a thin long rectangle paper "stem" to create a flower. Other options include making multiple smaller clovers to decorate a card for St. Patrick's Day or a wreath to adorn your door or wall!
Get creative with the size and even shade of green craft paper for a more unique look!
