As April promises to bring in warmer, yet wetter weather, bunnies and other animals alike begin to emerge looking to dine on grass, sprouting veggies and fruits!
Let this bunny jar inspire you to get outdoors and collect spring blooms to brighten up your space!
DIY Bunny Jar
Materials
Glass jar (i.e. mason jar, pickle jar, etc.)
White acrylic paint
Paintbrush
White foam sheet or craft paper
Pink glitter or pink paint
Pair of googly-eyes
Craft glue or hot glue gun
Black marker or paint
Directions
Wash, rinse and fully dry your glass jar to prep it for painting.
PLacing your jar on a newspaper to protect your surface, begin to paint the outside of the jar using your white acrylic paint and paintbrushes.
Set aside to fully dry.
Meantime, cut out two oval shapes using the white foam or craft paper, to use as the bunny's feet.
Using pink glitter and glue (or pink paint works great too!), draw the bunny's feet onto the white foam/craft paper.
Once the paint is dry on the bottle, glue on the feet at an angle towards the bottom of the jar.
Next, place some glue and pink glitter where the once will be and draw the nostril lines below.
Finally, use craft glue or a hot glue gun (with caution!) to place the googly eyes in place!
Set aside and let dry.
Add some water inside and your favourite spring flowers and place it in the sun for a spot of colour and nature inside your home!
