In this week's recipe blog, we are sharing a delicious and nutritious Berry Jam to help boost brain health. Packed with nutrients and powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds, berries are an excellent choice to help prevent and protect against neurodegenerative diseases - such as dementia and Alzheimer's.
Berry Chia Jam
Prep and cook time: 15 minutes
4-5 Servings

Ingredients:
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup cherries
1/2 cup strawberries
2 tablespoons chia
Optional: 100% stevia extract
Instructions
Wash berries (skip if frozen)
Heat a pot on medium-low heat; add the blueberries, cherries, and strawberries.
With the help of a fork or potato masher, grind the fruit and let stand for about 3 to 5 minutes so that the jam creates juice.
Add 2 tablespoons of chia to the mixture and stir.
Optional: add stevia extract to taste, we recommend 3 drops.
